Friday, September 26: Gala Under the Stars

The weekend events kick off on Friday afternoon with the $5,000 Open Jumper Stake Qualifier sponsored by E.P. Bishop and Great American Insurance Group. That evening a special event beginning at 6:00 pm, A Gala Under the Stars, will be held under the VIP Tent overlooking the Grand Prix Show Ring. Guests who purchase tickets will enjoy an open bar and an exquisitely prepared meal.  In addition, guests will also experience the excitement of the $2000 Der•Dau Pro-Am Team Jumper, where riders, one amateur and one professional share one horse and compete against other teams in a test of time and skill. Guests will be able to wager on the teams with all proceeds of the event going to CureSearch™. A Silent Auction to benefit CureSearch™ will also begin this evening and conclude on Sunday.  Music and dancing will follow the meal. Saturday, September 27: Family Day and Country Barbeque

Saturday will be packed with activities for the entire family to enjoy. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month so we encourage everyone to stop by the CureSearch exhibit booth to learn more about how we can support the search for a cure. In addition, we have distributed 75 VIP Gold Tickets to families who are waging a battle against childhood cancer to provide them a special day in the country.

Throughout the day, a horse drawn wagon provided by the Stockton Carriage Company will be offering rides around the 65 acres that Black River Farm occupies. Great activities will be offered in the VIP Kids Tent rain or shine beginning at 10:00 am. There will be plenty of craft tables with face painting, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, bobbing for apples and much more. A one time admission of $15 per child can be used all day. Discounts for additional children up to a maximum of $50. All proceeds will benefit CureSearch.

A Horseless Horse Show is being sponsored by Horseman's Outlet and will be offered in the afternoon for children who want to compete like the pros in the ring. An authentic barbecue and unique items from local artisans as well as clothing, sportswear, jewelry, tack, and so much more will be available from more than 35 vendors in our Vendor Village.

And don't forget to stop by the Grand Prix Show Ring to watch some of the greatest athletes and horses navigate a course of jumps with precision accuracy. Classes will be running all day long, rain or shine. Admission for Family Day is $5 per car. All proceeds will benefit CureSearch.

Sunday, September 28: Champagne Luncheon and the $50,000 CureSearch™ Grand Prix

Sunday promises a thrilling day of competition with all the Classics:

• the $5,000 Future Stars Class sponsored by Newsprint Farm
• the $5,000 Children/Adult Jumper Classic sponsored by Vanguard Energy Partners, LLC
• the $7,500 Junior Amateur Modified Jumper Classic sponsored by New Jersey Life Magazine.
• An elegant VIP Champagne Luncheon will be offered at 1:00 pm just before the marquis event of the show
• the $50,000 CureSearch™  Grand Prix Classic

Sunday also marks the close of bidding on the Silent Auction to benefit CureSearch™ .
